For a bit of history, I first started out filming in and around the ocean at the young age of 15. I continued to make visual narratives as a side passion well into my early twenties. I began to lean more into photography mainly because I really loved being able to process the RAW image files and transform the ocean into an art form. At the time, I could not afford a video camera that captured RAW data and was so limited to what I could do with it. So, I gravitated towards the RAW still image format and it became a real passion of mine to identify a single frame of beauty in the breaking wave. Thurston Photo was born out of this, but I never stopped shooting footage and telling visual narratives. All these years later, I have established a considerable and comprehensive portfolio of footage that is available to license through Getty images so other people and businesses can utilise my skillset to tell their own unique stories. You can purchase this footage for use in your own projects with a license suitable for your usage via the link below. You will find the same level of excellence and passion in my archive of video assets that I pour into my photography. Purchasing my footage supports my ongoing work and passion as an entrepreneur and creative.
