"Your 9-5 doesn't have to be boring."
The short story behind this film...
Everyday we wake up and for many of us we anticipate nothing more than a repeat of yesterday, being unaware that our tomorrow may very well be shaped by the choices we make today.
"The Morning Shift" is a short film that tells the story of how Burg became friends with a giant black stingray called "Nobby" and encourages us that the miracle we are all after can be realised when we take our focus off what we haven't got and turn it to what we have right in front of us.
"I loved to surf in the mornings and when i started the Morning Shift i was often a bit anxious when i knew i was missing the waves but overtime my eyes began to open to the great opportunity right in front of me and i became aware that each day we have the power to choose how our future will be defined, regardless of what our circumstances may say." - Burg Thurston
Where ever you are and whatever you do let this film inspire you to see the "love song that surrounds you" and you may just find that "the present" is the greatest place you can ever be.
